Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. (HMSI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with HDFC ERGO General Insurance to provide two wheeler insurance to its customers as a preferred partner on September 7, 2016. By this move the two wheeler manufacturer aims to provide added convenience to its customers ahead of the festive season. Under the terms of agreement HDFC ERGO will also provide customers with unlimited claim settlement in insured period and zero depreciation benefit.
This strategic alliance will cater to a wholesome two wheeler insurance cover to all HMSI's customers. It will cover 40pc saving on own damage premium apart from former tariff and will also offer customers a competitive premium. Customers can also avail of 100pc claim settlement on a pan India basis through mobile interface for added convenience. HDFC ERGO is offering a fast turnaround time of just three days for claim settlement.
